Where does my money actually go?

It costs approximately $1million to establish one campus of The BUSY School and operate it for a year.

We have 9 campuses right now, all of which take considerable time, resources and money to achieve their mission.

The number of disengaged students is on an upwards trajectory, with more than 4,000 students and their families now seeking these supportive learning environments. Demand for our current schools means they are now reaching capacity and the need for this support is not being met in other regions.

As we continue to identify the geographical regions that have the greatest need for our schools, we make plans to establish new campuses.

The funds raised will go directly towards the costs of establishing new campuses where they are needed most.

Campus expenses include:

  • Student uniforms
  • Student catering (breakfast and lunch items)
  • Equipment and stationary
  • Curriculum and course resources
  • Student excursions
  • Work readiness programs and support staff
  • Awards and graduations
  • Health and guidance support
  • Office consumables and IT support
  • Building and equipment maintenance
  • Leasehold and utilities
  • Marketing and administration
  • Educators and school staff
  • Additional supports for alumni

Our vision is to have more young people completing school, more young people in meaningful employment and as a result, exposing more communities to positive change.

With your help, we can continue to nurture students through their final years of secondary schooling and support them to find their pathway to further training or employment.
